Avaya Announces Global Services Program for the DistributionChannel in Mexico

The programoffers the distribution channel in Mexico business models thatinclude Services in addition to the equipment and solutions thatAvaya currently offers customers.

Avaya's services provide enterprises and service providers withflexible choices — from professional services to outsourcing — inall communications technologies including converged networksolutions, telephony, multiservice network infrastructure, customerrelationship management (CRM), and unified communication.

The new program consists of ways for Avaya to work with channelpartners and encompasses everything from customer referrals forchannels that don't have the infrastructure to support Services, tothe integration of services that complement Avaya Global Services,for those who already have a portfolio of services and a salesorganization.

"Given that our distribution channels are sometimes wary ofapproaching the services business, we have decided to design aprogram with enough flexibility to make it attractive to differentchannels, depending on their level of commitment and investment,"explained Gustavo Riverón, channel sales director for AvayaMexico.

In the past year, Avaya has expanded and persified itsportfolio of Services by launching to new offers such as consultingfor IP telephony networks and Global Remote Network ManagementServices for multi-vendor data networks, among others.

With the introduction of the Avaya Global Services ChannelProgram, the company looks to increase the quality of service givento end users through these and other new services that will beannounced throughout this year.

"Mexico is the first country in Latin America where we arelaunching this program directed at the channel due the maturity ofthe sector and the commitment that Avaya has to its distributors.In the coming months, we will extend this program to the rest ofthe countries in the region," said Luis Felipe Mendoza, director ofAvaya Global Services in Mexico.
