Avaya Inc. It will sharewith its customers three case studies on successful IPimplementations in the US and in the region to demonstrate howbusinesses can benefit from Avaya technology.

The road show, which kicked off in Singapore today, will helpcompanies translate business needs into Communication-DrivenSolutions by matching 'User Imperatives' such as responsiveness tocustomers and clients, optimal productivity and flexible locationsof work; to 'IT Imperatives' such as easy flexible deployment, newcapabilities, investment protection, control and measurement andoption to build or outsource.

"The Avaya solution will help businesses ensure that the IPConverged communication platform they adopt will be reliable, scalable and secure," said Ms. Fong Ying Ching, Avaya CountryDirector for Singapore, Indonesia and the Emerging Markets.

"At this event, Avaya will share with our BusinessPartners andcustomers 10 Golden Rules of guiding businesses to a successful IPConvergence deployment and how to avoid common pitfalls," addedFong.

The IP road show by Avaya is timely as Avaya has been recognizedby Frost & Sullivan in their report dated June 2003 as: "One ofthe top three vendors in the PBX segment. Avaya enjoyed strongperformance with its IP-enabled Definity® Enterprise CommunicationServer (ECS) and the smaller ProLogix systems (both a part of itsAvaya Enterprise Class IP Solutions – ECLIPS – portfolio). However,2002 was a watershed year for this vendor in Asia Pacific. Avayasuccessfully architectured its strategies to grow its market sharein the IP-PBX segment. In 2001, it held market share of 3.9 percentbut grew its market share in just twelve months to 25.6 percent. Afeat, which no vendor has achieved in this market as of date."

The road show will end in Mumbai, India on 29 August, 2003.
