Avaya to Showcase Business Benefits of IP Telephony at Networld +Interop

As IP Telephony Network Provider for Networld + Interop LasVegas, Avaya will help exhibitors, conference attendees, show staffand reporters communicate during the show by routing IP phone callsover one of the world's largest temporary convergedinfrastructures. Free tours of the network will be offeredthroughout the event to the more than 40,000 IT professionalsexpected to attend.

From 2:00 to 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, Avaya customer ThomasDunkerley, communications manager for the Seattle Times,will participate in a panel discussing successful IP telephonydeployments. He will share how the newspaper transitioned to IPTelephony to reduce costs and simplify systems administration —without sacrificing any of the telephony features on which thestaff had come to rely.

From 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, Avaya's KevinJohnson, product manager for security and wireless, willparticipate on a panel entitled "Securing and Managing VoIP."

At booth 5049 on the show floor, Avaya will demonstrate avariety of IP-related products and technology, including:
