Avaya Korea Ltd. and LG Electronics announced they have signed a business partnership distribution agreement in the IP convergence area.

Avaya Korea Ltd., the Korean subsidiary of Avaya Inc. (NYSE:AV), a leading global provider of communications networks and services for businesses, and LG Electronics, a global player in electronics & telecommunications and the number one PBX provider in the local market, today announced they have signed a business partnership distribution agreement in the IP convergence area.

This business partnership will pave the way for further collaboration to meet evolving communications needs of Korean customers and help them achieve higher returns on investment (ROI) and lower total cost of ownership (TCO), while enhancing productivity and efficiency.

The two companies will also carry out training programs, and seek collaboration with key systems and network integrators to provide reliable solutions and services and will focus on expanding the telecommunications and enterprise markets. The partnership will provide Avaya Korea with a strong local distribution network and technology support system and will strengthen LG Electronics' market leadership in the sector.
