Combest Inc. Achieves Platinum Certification Status with Avaya

Avaya announced that it has certified Combest Inc. as a Platinum BusinessPartner.

Avaya (NYSE: AV), a leading global provider of communications networks and services to business, today announced that it has certified Combest Inc. as a Platinum BusinessPartner.

The Platinum certification, the highest Avaya offers, is an industry recognized designation that indicates Combest has met rigorous criteria that ensure superior technical competency and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service and support as measured by an independent survey organization.

Combest sells Avaya communications systems and services that include design, implementation and support to businesses nationwide.

One of the many customers that has benefited from Combest's support is Access Integrated Networks, a local service provider in Macon, Ga. Access Integrated Networks relies on top-notch customer service to distinguish its business from other local service providers and turned to Combest when it needed to upgrade its customer call center.

Combest designed a network that features an Avaya S8700 Media Server and Avaya Interaction Center application software and provides significant improvements in the carrier's customer care capabilities. Now Access Integrated Networks can automatically route customers to the appropriate agent and can provide staffers with the customer, transaction and product information they need to deliver quality service. In addition, the center is able to respond to inquiries in the communication medium customers prefer - providing consistent, personalized responses via phone, email, web or fax.

The Avaya BusinessPartner certification program has three levels of distinction-Silver, Gold and Platinum. For Combest to achieve the Platinum rating, the company had to meet specific customer service and performance criteria that included:

  • Customer satisfaction ratings of 85 percent or higher.
  • Certified employees who have completed courses and passed a rigorous exam to earn the designation "Avaya Certified Specialist." Avaya has one of the industry's leading programs to certify technical professionals in converged voice and data networks and applications, including IP telephony.


Combest has consistently received top honors from Avaya, including the 2003 ALTI award for performance.
