LG CNS and Avaya Korea Open Avaya Solution Center

  • The first jointly established solution center with Avaya local BusinessPartner in the APAC region; Offers a place where customers can experience technologies and benefits of IP telephony

Avaya Korea Ltd. announced that Avaya Korea and its local BusinessPartner LG CNS will open 'Avaya Solution Center' in Seoul.

Avaya Korea Ltd., the Korean subsidiary of Avaya Inc. (NYSE:AV), a leading global provider of business communications software, systems and services, today announced that Avaya Korea and its local BusinessPartner LG CNS will open 'Avaya Solution Center' in Seoul. Avaya Solution Center at LG CNS is the first solution center jointly opened with a local BusinessPartner in the APAC region. Avaya and LG CNS held an opening ceremony with Mark Leigh, President of Avaya Asia Pacific, and Byung-Chul Jung, President of LG CNS, participating.

Located at LG CNS headquarters, Avaya Solution Center is designed to provide a place where customers can experience Avaya's advanced IP telephony and IP contact center solutions, providing a guide for them to migrate to an IP-based environment. LG CNS and Avaya expect the new solution center to showcase reliable solutions and services that meet customers' communications needs as well as to support their sales activities as a demo center.

LG CNS will be in charge of overall operation and staff support at the center while Avaya will provide hardware and software solutions and be responsible for updates and maintenance. Avaya will also provide technology support as well as training to enable smooth operation of the center by LG CNS.

LG CNS, which aims to maintain its leadership position in the NI (Network Integration) market as well as to make expansions to overseas markets, is now able to offer best-suited communications solutions to customers by closely working with Avaya, a global leading provider of IP telephony solutions.

Byung-Chul Jung, president of LG CNS, said, "The Avaya Solution Center will enable us to provide services that meet various communications needs of customers in the IP telephony and CRM areas."
