Avaya Takes Top Spot in UK IP Telephony Market in Fourth Quarter of 2005


Avaya announced that it has been named as the leader in the U.K. enterprise IP telephony market in the fourth quarter of 2005, according to a recent report by industry analyst firm Synergy Research Group.

GUILDFORD, U.K. – Avaya Inc., (NYSE:AV), a leading global provider of communications applications, systems and services, today announced that it has been named as the leader in the U.K. enterprise IP telephony market in the fourth quarter of 2005, according to a recent report by industry analyst firm Synergy Research Group1. In the three months from October to December, Avaya took nearly 27 percent market share, measured by ports shipped.
