Avaya CEO Louis D'Ambrosio Uses Interop Keynote to Highlight the Business Opportunities Enabled by Intelligent Communications


Louis D'Ambrosio will use his keynote address during Interop Las Vegas to highlight the business opportunities enabled by intelligent communications.

BASKING RIDGE, N.J. – Louis D'Ambrosio, president and CEO of Avaya Inc. (NYSE:AV), a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services, will use his May 23 keynote address during Interop Las Vegas to highlight the business opportunities enabled by intelligent communications.


Scheduled for May 20-25 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Interop Las Vegas is a leading trade show focused on the information technology industry. Avaya will exhibit at the show and is the IP telephony provider for InteropNet – the multivendor, high-speed voice and data network serving exhibitors and attendees. 


"With the shift to IP communications now past the tipping point, we are on the threshold of two major opportunities," D'Ambrosio said. "One is the speed and efficiency gains available when we link voice, email and other types of communications platforms so they can interoperate seamlessly. Avaya analysis tools help to ensure top performance for InteropNet

In addition to being the IP telephony provider for the InteropNet, Avaya is helping to ensure top performance for this multivendor, high-speed voice and data network serving Interop exhibitors and attendees. Avaya plans to deploy its Converged Network Analyzer tool that addresses the wide-area network variability that can impact real-time communications and business applications. The Avaya tool improves reliability by continually monitoring the wide-area network, assessing the bandwidth needs of inpidual applications and optimizing performance. As a result, the InteropNet can be optimized for IP telephony, data and video traffic.


Avaya to Showcase Intelligent Communication Solutions


In Booth 1048 on the show floor, Avaya will showcase intelligent communications solutions that can help businesses transform their operations:


  • Avaya IP Telephony. New IP-based branch office solutions will be featured, including the recently announced Avaya IP Office 500 platform for small and medium businesses.
