Avaya South Pacific Continues to Strengthen its Investment in Professional Services Practice

  • Operational growth heralds new management team, creation of strategic new business model

Avaya South Pacific announced an enhanced services business model as part of the vision of a newly appointed General Manager of Services.

AUSTRALIA – Focused on creating a more strategic, customer-facing and hands-on local workforce, Avaya South Pacific today announced an enhanced services business model as part of the vision of newly appointed General Manager of Services, Ralph Buchmaier.


Buchmaier joined Avaya Inc. (NYSE: AV) a global leader in business communications applications, systems and services, responsible for maintaining a centre of excellence in consulting and services for Avaya South Pacific. He brings over 18 years experience to the role having worked for multinational consulting, systems integration and managed services organisations in Asia, Europe and the United States.


With Buchmaier at the helm, the new organisational structure focuses on delivering exceptional customer service by building the best support practice in Australia that leverages Avaya's global services expertise.

Avaya South Pacific is continuing to invest in its services structure and already additional senior executives have been appointed as part of a vision to increase value and visibility to Avaya's valued customer base.


Another key appointment is Patrick Stevens who recently joined as the leader for Avaya's Consulting and Integration Services pision. Avaya is also recruiting for a new role that will lead a specialized customer-facing service delivery team tasked with leveraging their knowledge of local customer environments whilst harnessing the expertise and depth of the Avaya global services organisation.
