Avaya To Host Web Forum on Empowering Workers through Unified Communications

  • Gartner, IBM and Microsoft join Avaya to discuss perspectives on unified communications and integrating applications to increase productivity and streamline the user experience

Avaya will host a live web forum to help businesses and organizations better understand the variety of perspectives and approaches associated with Unified Communications. 

BASKING RIDGE, N.J. –  Avaya Inc. (NYSE:AV) today announced that it will host a live web forum to help businesses and organizations better understand the variety of perspectives and approaches associated with Unified Communications. Representatives from Gartner, IBM and Microsoft will join Avaya for the free, online event, which is scheduled for 12 noon – 1:15 pm Eastern on Thursday, February 22, 2007. For businesses, unified communications can increase employee productivity in increasingly virtual organizations by integrating multiple communications technologies and devices.   • Chris Cullin, director, Unified Communications Group, Microsoft – who will discuss how users can have a simple, "click to call experience" with the integration of Avaya unified communications and Microsoft® Office Communicator and Communications Server.
