MARSEILLE, France - Imagine Soft, a leading hospitality software editor, today announced that its Meteor SE middleware is compliant with key IP telephony solutions from Avaya Inc., a global leader in enterprise communications systems, software and services.

Imagine Soft Meteor SE helps businesses enhance Avaya solutions hospitality features and provides a rich and secure gateway between the hotel Property Management System and its telephony network. The application now is compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya IP Office Release 6.

"Meteor SE is an universal gateway, and an easy to install plug an play software," says Eric Ebert, Imagine Soft president. "Meteor SE is closely integrated with the Avaya IP Office as shown by Avaya compliance. Standard based technologies and business oriented features allow hotel managers to make the most from their telephony investment, because advanced telephony features become readily accessible through any hotel Property Management System. Imagine Soft joint efforts with Avaya teams allows hotels to offer evolutive and value added services to their guests."

One of the companies benefiting from the interoperability of Imagine Soft and Avaya solutions is Suite Home Hotels, an hotel brand that specializes in guest residences, both for tourism and business needs.

"Using the software tools is very easy and allows us to save a lot of time," says Xavier Simon, manager of Suite Home Hotel Saran, "whether when opening a phone line at guest check-in or when using our auto-attendant. Moreover no specific formation was needed for our staff. Return on investment is largely positive"

Imagine Soft is a member of the Avaya DevConnect program - an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network.

As a Gold member of the program, Imagine Soft is eligible to submit products for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. There, a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compliant. Doing so ensures businesses can confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure—speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.

"Partners like Imagine Soft help Avaya offer efficient solutions on the niche hospitality market" said Eric Rossman, vice president, developer relations, Avaya. "Imagine Soft development capacity allow more reactive responses to business needs and an international market coverage."
