BT Wholesale and Avaya Sign 10TH Partner for Cloud Solution


London – BT Wholesale and Avaya have signed the 10th UK channel partner to the Avaya Cloud Solution early adopter programme; a significant milestone for the Avaya Cloud Solution ahead of its launch later this year.

The latest partner, 4Net joins others that include: Comec; Digital Exchange Products; Exchange Communications; G3 Comms; IP Integration; Maintel; Reeves Lund; Pennine Communications; and Worldstone.


Avaya Cloud Solutions, delivered by BT Wholesale, provides a genuine ‘pay as you grow’ model for both the end customer and the channel partner. By making it possible for channel partners to purchase capacity and services only when their customers require, and removing the usual upfront purchase commitments, Avaya and BT are offering the UK’s first genuine utility cloud service. Channel partners will be able to deliver Avaya Customer and Team Engagement Solutions, based on the company’s market-leading Avaya Aura® Contact Centre (CC) and Unified Communications (UC) capabilities, to their midmarket and enterprise customers as a true utility, carrier grade, cloud-based service. The service is based completely within BT’s infrastructure, enabling BT Wholesale to control and manage the quality of every aspect of the service with guaranteed service levels, another industry first for the UK market.


The joint service, from two of the world’s most established communications providers, is available to new and existing customers with a managed migration path for existing customers to help them evolve from on-site to cloud based services. This ‘pay as you grow’ utility model helps mid-market, enterprise and government customers align their expenditure with their usage requirements, avoiding the need for long-term commitments which result in excess under-utilised capacity and pert scarce capital from core activity. It is designed to enable businesses to respond quickly and flexibly to their customer demands, deepen their end customer engagement and improve revenue generation.


This service will be available exclusively from accredited channel partners through BT Wholesale.
