International Avaya Users Group South Africa Chapter announces 2015 Conference


  • World class, market-leading solutions in the areas of customer experience management, networking, and unified communications and collaboration showcased
  • Attendees include representatives from the Banking Sector, Health Sector, Telco’s, Insurance Industry and Tertiary Institutions

Johannesburg, 2015 – The International Avaya Users Group (IAUG), today announced the annual South African Chapter Conference 2015, accommodating 200 Avaya solutions and services users in South Africa and Africa, will take place from the 23rd to 26th August 2015 at the Legend Golf and Safari Resort in Limpopo.


The conference serves as a strong advocacy platform for Avaya users in South Africa and neighbouring countries in Africa. The chapter members benefit from increased education and training on all areas of communication technologies, and access to a wide network of regional and global Avaya users who share solutions and solve common problems, as well as a direct access to various Avaya support programmes.


“All industry professionals attending the conference use the Avaya technology. During the conference Avaya users will have sufficient opportunity to network with colleagues and share information on the latest technology available, and to demonstrate to other Avaya users the true value of being part of the International Avaya Users Group. The annual conference is the highlight of IAUG SA Chapter efforts for the year and attendee feedback from previous events on what they would like to know and learn is taken into account when planning the next conference. A number of customer case studies are showcased, which is one of the main attractions for the members of the Avaya Users Group.


“The case studies focus on project content from companies at the event that have taken up the challenges of new Avaya deployments and upgrades, and the lessons learnt during those journeys. After returning from the conference, attendees are immediately able to apply their new found knowledge and help assure their organisation remains competitive in a continuously growing and changing industry,” added van Zyl.
