Entrepreneurial Spirit Alive & Well with Renewed Avaya Channel Partner Program

New and greater rewards, opportunities to drive growth and profitability, reduced requirements keep the entrepreneurial spirit alive and well

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Feb 24, 2016 – Today, Avaya, a leading global provider of business communications software, systems and services, announced the next evolution of the company’s channel partner program. With a large and loyal base of channel partners, Avaya is encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit of these companies with a host of new advancements that drive growth, increase rewards and reduce administrative requirements.

Steve Biondi, Global Channel Chief for Avaya, said:

“Avaya Channel Partners start from a position of strength, equipped with a portfolio of unified communications, customer experience and networking solutions that is unmatched in the industry. We are making that position even stronger with new program elements that will bolster their capabilities and reach as we streamline how we work together. We want and need our channel partners to be successful and our customers to be happy - we can only do that as a united front that respects the individual concerns of each party.”

Changes in the Avaya Connect partner program include:

  • All New Growth Bets -- This new growth program will specifically appeal to Avaya channel partners willing to go where few have gone before to break new ground in five specific areas of market opportunity: Midmarket, Contact Center, Fabric Networking, Modernize the Customer Base and Cloud.
  • Less is more – Avaya is optimizing existing benefit programs by consolidating numerous incentives and making them more potent. Partners will spend less time researching and applying for incentives and have more time to grow their Avaya business with new customers and markets.
  • More equals even more - Partners with the greatest scope and capacity across all Avaya solutions will be eligible for additional incentives along with discounted co-delivery services. Motivated, fast-growing experts expanding key market segments such as midmarket, networking and cloud can also enjoy the fruits of their efforts with extra rebates.
  • Best foot forward gets rewarded: Customers demand exceptional support. Avaya’s next generation Co-Delivery Partner program recognizes Avaya partners who deliver exceptional customer experiences. Starting in FY17, partners will be measured against industry leading key performance indicators and metrics. Enhanced customer support leads to increased customer stickiness and loyalty, and increased revenue opportunities for our partners.

Paul Edwards, director, infrastructure channels and ecosystems, IDC, said:

“We are in a time of intense transformation for channel companies and their customers. To stay one step ahead of market demands, vendors need to continually assess and evolve their channel programs in ways that support, encourage and empower their entrepreneurial spirit.”

Avaya Connect channel partners will hear from Steve Biondi and his team during a live session of the Virtual Partner Forum today. The sessions will be recorded and accessible on demand from the Avaya Virtual Partner Forum.
