Joe Lohmeier, Vice President, Worldwide Partner Organization of Avaya Recognized as 2016 CRN® Channel Chief


Santa Clara, Calif.-- February 24, 2016 – Avaya, a global leader in business communications software, systems and services, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Joe Lohmeier, vice president of its Worldwide Partner Organization to its prestigious list of 2016 Channel Chiefs. The executives on this annual list represent top leaders in the IT channel who excel at driving growth and revenue in their organizations through channel partners.

Channel Chief honorees are selected by CRN’s editorial staff on the basis of their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community and strategies for driving future growth and innovation. Each of the 2016 Channel Chiefs has demonstrated loyalty and ongoing support for the IT channel by consistently promoting, defending and executing outstanding channel partner programs.

On behalf of Avaya, Joe leads revenue growth efforts through the company’s channel sales team, along with the architecture and policy management of the industry-leading Avaya Connect program for the more than 9,000 world-wide partners that make up Avaya’s channel community. Joe is responsible for accelerating the midmarket, networking and video sales business practices of Avaya’s partners, while creating new paths for capturing market share in areas such as cloud solutions.
