announced today that it has requested the
U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission

SEC
) declare
Avaya's
Registration Statement on Form 10 effective on
January 16, 2018
. Following the effectiveness of the filing,
Avaya's
common stock will be listed on the
New York Stock Exchange
under the ticker "AVYA" and is expected to begin trading at the market open on
Wednesday, January 17, 2018
.
